ALU DUCT (KAD)

APPLICATIONS
KIMMCO Alu Duct is used for air distribution in HVAC system operating at up to 120 C, with a velocity of up to 20 m/s and up to maximal internal pressure of 50 mm water gauge.

DESCRIPTION
KIMMCO Alu Duct is fabricated from the rigid board composed of resin bonded fine pure spun glass fibres faced with a glass reinforced foil laminate (All Service Jacket-ASJ) or foil glass cloth laminate (ALUGLASS) air barrier on the outer face, and a reinforced foil Kraft laminate (FSK) or foil Kraft laminate (FSK) on the inner face to provide a smooth air flow and easy cleaning.

FIRE SAFETY
KIMMCO Alu Duct is resistant to flame spread from external or internal fire sources and is classified as class 1 material. KIMMCO Alu Duct withstands the flame penetration test without collapsing or evidence of perforation which would allow direct passage of flame or gases, and without combustion on the exterior surface of the sample.

Easy To Maintain
KIMMCO Alu Duct is easy to maintain since the duct can be cleaned periodically by suitable duct cleaning equipment.

LONG-TERM DURABILITY
KIMMCO Alu Duct is dimensionally stable under varying conditions of temperature and humidity.

KIMMCO Alu Duct is rot proof, odourless and non-hygroscopic.

KIMMCO Alu Duct does not breed or sustain mold, fungus, bacteria or rodents.

KIMMCO Alu Duct is resistant to any effect due to environment (UV rays) and does not deteriorate. Hence no aging; the life of KIMMCO Glass is more than the life of the substrate on which they have been applied; and the performances of Fibreglass insulation products remain consistent and uniform throughout its life
